I was recently impressed with a commercial #AlwaysLikeAGirl. When you hear the phrase “like a girl,” what do you think of? In a recent commercial for Always, several teen girls and a few boys are told to perform various physical activities, such as running, throwing and fighting “like a girl.” It was AMAZING to see how many stereotypes were demonstrated by not only men, but by females themselves. As somebody who has sisters, I would hope that they would see this and know that when asked to run, play games, read, take a test, think about a career, plan for their lives; that they work as hard as they can, because they can have everything a man can have, if not more.
